| Lived | January 1999 - February 2002, female. Sadly Frank's experiences had taken a greater toll on her body than we thought, and she has passed away. I only had her for a very short time, but she was a super pig and I'm glad Lisa and I were able to give her some proper care and happy times before she died. | Family | Not known |

| Biography | Frank was a rescue pig from the Himley Cavy Rescue. We think she spent her first couple of years as a show pig - boo. She was then taken to breed to supply for a pet shop, and was bred for the first time ever at about 3 years of age. Female guinea pigs should never be bred after 10-12 months of age if they have not had a litter before, as there are much higher chances of fatal complications. She was taken to the rescue when she got in to difficulty giving birth. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, neither babies had survived. Frank almost didn't either and probably had her life saved by the quick action taken at the rescue. She seemed to be pulling back marvellously with lots of tlc, and had started to put on some much needed weight. She had her claws, teeth and coat attended to, and a general pampering before she was rehomed with me. However, although she was a happy and sociable pig for the short time I had her, unfortunately her body couldn't deny her experiences and she sadly passed away. | ||
