| Biography |
Because of Teef's dislike for competition, the strong alliance Ziggy initially had with his brother was soon
brought to an end, much to Zig's dismay. However, after 'the snip' he quickly cheered himself up and established himself firmly as the the Romeo of the group. He spent the majority of his days rumbling around with his head held high, perpetually wooing the
ladies. He was always totally incapable of moving an inch without making some kind
of rumble, chuntering noise or squeak - he was a very chatty little pig! Ziggy had a few health problems in his years, but bravely battled through dental problems, an abscess and a couple of respiratory infections, bouncing out from the other side of them all. A great part of that was down to the care of an excellent vet. Unfortunately in September 2003, he went down suddenly with a respiratory infection and despite immediate veterinary attention, it was just too much for him and he passed away within a day. Ziggy was an absolute joy to have as part of my herd and he will be sorely missed. |
