Here are some other great piggy living arrangements that give piggers much more room than a standard cage or hutch. Click on the pics for a full sized version in a gallery window.

This excellent cage belongs to Moira (or should that be her piggies?!). It's in the lounge/ dining room and was made to match the furniture in the room! There's a gentle ramp leading up to a snuggly balcony area. The bottom contains some nice cool paving slabs great for helping wear down nails, and plenty of places to hide to help the piggers feel secure. There are also plenty of things for them to play with like tunnels and cardboard tubes. These are some lucky little pigs!

Here is a super deluxe and very spacious home made pen made by Kathryn! As you can see there is plenty of space for the three piggers to run around in, a nice cosy place to snuggle up and plenty of tunnels and tubes to keep them entertained. What more could a piggy want?!

Here is Tracie's home made piggy pen which is a great size for a living area and can hold plenty of toys without compromising on leg room! The cage inside the pen is so a little chap called Tango can socialise safely with the ladies before he has his op!

Here is Wheekies home-made pen which is nice and roomy at about 4.5ft by 3.5ft. It has a large window at the front made from plexi-glass and a little wooden front door which opens for easy access to lots of floor time!

Lori's cage is based on the cubes and corroplast design. Firstly it had an upper deck made from wood and linoleum. The ramp was made from draw dividers and the main supporting post from a piece of pvc piping. Later Lori's husband was playing around with some scrap wood and made a new free standing house and loft unit (see third picture) which has received the piggers seal of approval! The whole cage is up on a table which is a great for making piggers feel at ease and makes it much easier to pick them up too!
